co-direction, co-composition, performance

I have been part of this Geneva-based ensemble since 2011, alongside Alexandra Bellon, Anne Briset, and Viva Sanchez (until 2025), as well as Raphaël Krajka (until 2021). After initially focusing on contemporary repertoire for pianos, percussion, and electronics, we began composing collectively. We have created numerous new multidisciplinary works and host a series of improvised concerts in Geneva. We are currently developing a four-hour performance for gamelan and live electronics in collaboration with David Poissonnier, called « Am Angklungklang ».

co-curation, performance

I joined the group in 2022, shortly after they were awarded the Nicati Prize. We focus on creating and performing new repertoire for this unique instrumentation: violin (Alicja Pilarczyk), saxophone (Pablo González Balaguer), accordion (Nejc Grm), and percussion. We have commissioned several renowned composers and have toured in Poland, Spain, and Slovenia (the home countries of my colleagues), as well as in Norway, the Netherlands, and several cities in Switzerland.

STOP, DROP, AND ROLL, Basel

co-direction, co-composition, performance

I co-founded the trio with Christopher Moy (guitar) and Tatiana Timonina (flute) during our specialized studies in new music in Basel. We initially focused on music theatre repertoire (such as works by Kagel and Globokar), and later commissioned a 40-minute piece from composer Anda Kryeziu. Since then, we have been developing our own musical concepts and creating new works collaboratively. Our last project « Micromovement », was part of my Friendly Takeover evening in Gare du Nord, on April 1st, 2025.

Les Mécaniques duo

co-composition, performance

I met French jazz saxophonist Charley Rose in Basel, brought together by our shared admiration for the artist Jean Tinguely. Since then, we have been developing our own music, somewhere between contemporary jazz and experimental sound, inspired by his work.

co-curation

Together with composer and saxophonist Kevin Juillerat, I have been organizing a concert series in various venues across Lausanne since 2019. We focus on multidisciplinary new works and hybrid concert formats. Each evening features two distinct projects, creating opportunities for artists and audiences from different backgrounds to meet and exchange.

Festival Rümlingen flyer 2025

co-curation

I joined the eight-member programming team in 2024. The festival serves as a platform for contemporary music, new music theatre, performance, and installation art. It places a strong emphasis on site-specificity, with events often taking place in rural settings or directly in natural environments. I co-curated the 2025 edition alongside Marcus Weiss and Andri Hardmeier. That year’s festival was a collaboration with the Hors Norme Festival and took place at Lake Joux.

An Essay about Nothing flyer

co-composition, performance

I met actor Lukas Roth during a workshop we both took at the Figura Festival in Baden in 2022. In 2024, he invited me to take part in his new creation for his Master’s project at the Accademia Teatro Dimitri. Together with violinist Andrea Kirchhofer, we created a transdisciplinary performance in which live music interacts with acting and movement. On stage, Lukas’s character moves through a series of sometimes absurd scenes, where the concept of “nothing” is explored and our live music occasionally becomes part of the action.

MINUTE SONORE, Romandie

education, composition, performance

The Hörminute is a project developed by Sylwia Zytynska and Zuhören Schweiz. Professional musicians as well as audiences of all kinds are invited to create one-minute pieces, which are then published on an online platform. The project also includes a series of workshops, and I was invited to lead the one in French-speaking Switzerland. I led a session at the Archipel Festival in 2025, and will be offering it with NEC and Contrechamps as well later in the year.
